Cavite's first rainbow pedestrian lane, launched in Noveleta

The launch of the first Pride pedestrian lane in Noveleta town was historic under the leadership of VG Jolo Revilla who is the author of the province's SOGIE ORDINANCE along with Noveleta Mayor Dino Chua and leaders of the first district LGBT community.

For more information, the SOGIE ORDINANCE aims to have Equal rights and Anti-Discrimination for LGBT people, it also aims to have an LGTB help desk in every barangay in the province to help the LGBT Community. It has already been passed to the Sangguniang Panlalawigan and will be forwarded to the congress by Cong Jolo Revilla.


It also included Noveleta Mayor Dino Reyes Chua and Maam Bernice Angeles, who thanked those who supported and helped make the said launch a success.

Also present was National President of LGBT Dindi Tan who promised to provide employment for the LGBT community along with offering Agricultural needs such as chicken, pork etc. in Cavite province.
Meanwhile, former Unang Hirit host and now Provincial Adviser of LGBT Michael Eagle Riggs shared a little message.

"In our time before we crossed the road we (Gay, lesbian) would first hear sarcasm and hurtful words because we were not accepted then, it was a big thing for us to get to know and have equal recognition…" He also thanked to Cong. Jolo Revilla and Mayor Dino Chua as it was executed.

Special mention also goes to all LGBT leaders who were also included in the launch.

Provincial Adviser of LGBT Michael Eagle Riggs, Provincial President and National Director Jayson Alper Hisola and Municipal Adviser of LGBT Calero Noveleta Chapter Madilyn Loyola and other first district leaders.
